Additional Information
This bootleg fades straight in to the "Up by the desert sky" section of Real Life missing at least two-thirds of the song. There's more surprises as Mel finishes the last section by himself - Jim can't be heard. "Everything OK? Love Song!" but Jim doesn't sound sure and the song lacks enthusiam. A rare performance of Ghostdancing (for this tour) is surprisingly short with the band finishing before the coda. ("The car pulled up... section is missing.)

Banging On The Door and Book Of Brilliant Things are performed as before but Don't You (Forget About Me) sounds tired and strained. Stand By Love was slightly more energetic (the bootleg fades and rejoins at the intro). But the New Gold Dream songs sound listless and drag. (Incidentally the bootleg opens the second disc with a fade into the intro of Big Sleep.)

"Yeah - Sanctify Yourself. Let me see your hands" doesn't sound convincing. Let There Be Love is slow, but Alive And Kicking kicks up the tempo slightly.

Waterfront opens the first encore and Jim sounds more up-beat. "We played a football match yesterday and we won. 8-1. This is Waterfront." The energy flows into Ghostrider but by the announcement for Belfast Child, Jim sounds exhausted.

Jim sounds really down at this gig, there's little enthusiasm (perhaps he was ill). This leads to a dry, depressed performance. Sound quality is good, packaging is good, but it's not a great gig. Difficult to recommend.
