This forty page music book not only featured the words and music to the entire Sparkle album but included an exclusive Adam Sweeting introduction, unique Malcolm Garrett artwork and loads of pictures (including full versions of the pictures of the band which ended up in the CD booklet).

Individual singles also had their own music publications. This example, for Don't You (Forget About Me) featured all the words and music for the title track

Less glossy, with less pages and just a few photographs than its Sparkle predecessor, this music book, which featured the lyrics and music of the album, did include separate colour poster of the group as a bonus.

Separate music publications for singles were also issued in the USA. The lyrics and music for Alive And Kicking were published by Warner Brothers. Other issues were:

The music book for Real Life not only featured the words and music for all the tracks, but also featured some exclusive colour photographs.

This music book also featured unique artwork plus the Brian Hogg biography that was also released with the album.
