Simple Minds Tour Programmes

New Gold Dream
Full colour glossy tour programme with Adam Sweeting text. It includes a handwritten message from Jim, profiles of Mick, Derek, Charlie and Jim, discography, plus pictures from their 1981 Canadian tour. My favourite tour programme as it's alot of fun as well.

Sparkle In The Rain
Full colour glossy tour programme with more Adam Sweeting text. The pictures are bigger and glossier, but the text font is also much bigger so there's less to read.
This programme's been signed by Jim and Charlie.

Once Upon A Time
It's glossy and it's got black and white pictures. And that's it. As a source of information about the band, their songs or their history then it's useless - as a souvenir of the concert then I guess it's fine.

Street Fighting Years
This programme was much, much better than its predecessor. Loads of colour pictures, exclusive Alfred Bos text (still without captial letters), member profiles, tour dates and discography. Far more entertaining.

Real Life
Back to the picture book style. All's not so bad though - the pictures (both in black and white and colour) are excellent, and there's a biography of each band member plus a discography (which included one or two major mistakes!)

Good News From The Next World
Again, this is another picture book (this time of Jim and Charlie in India). However it does include some text, which is concerned with the making of the album and biographies of Jim and Charlie. And with the corrugated card cover and different papers and printing styles inside, then it's a really nice item.
